Kota Sato was born in Tokyo, Japan. He trained at the Shimura Ballet School and Canada’s National Ballet School. Mr. Sato joined The National Ballet of Canada as an Apprentice in 2012 and the Corps de Ballet in 2014.

The New York premiere of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland was greeted with standing ovations and near sold-out houses at the Lincoln Center. The celebrated production returns to Toronto March 14—29, 2015. More information here.

Svetlana Lunkina was born in Moscow and trained at the Moscow Choreographic Academy. In 1997, Ms. Lunkina joined the Bolshoi Ballet and was promoted to Principal Dancer in 2005. In 2013, she joined The National Ballet of Canada as a Principal Guest Artist and became a Principal Dancer with the company in 2014.

Tutu Tuesday: The Queen of Hearts’ tutu in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is as big and bold as the character itself. The size and shape of the tutu are exaggerated with a bodice designed to suggest a heart shape at the neckline.

Ben Rudisin was born in Woodbridge, Virginia and trained at the North Carolina School of the Arts and with Houston Ballet II. Mr. Rudisin joined The National Ballet of Canada as an Apprentice in 2013 and joined the Corps de Ballet in 2014.
